Gary
Head, President and Chief Executive Officer of Signature
Bank of Arkansas and White River Bancshares, graduated
from the University of Arkansas in December of 1982 with
BSBA in Banking and Finance. He began his banking career
in 1983 with McIlroy Bank and Trust and was recruited
in 1984 by First State Bank where he served as Vice President,
Commercial Lending. Gary graduated from the SMU School
of Banking in 1987 and that same year rejoined McIlroy
Bank and Trust as Vice-President Commercial Loans. During
Gary’s tenure with the Arvest Bank in Fayetteville
(formally McIlroy Bank and Trust) he was Loans Division
Manager, Executive Vice-President/Sales Manager and in
1999 was named President and CEO. Gary maintained that
position with the bank until May 2004 when he resigned
to launch, what is known today, as Signature Bank of Arkansas.
Signature Bank of Arkansas opened its doors on May 9,
2005 and under Gary’s leadership and commitment
to his customers and the bankers that work with him has
grown to be more than a $350 million bank. Gary’s
commitment and contribution to the community is well-known;
he currently serves on the boards of the Fayetteville
Economic Development Commission, the NWA Council, Community
Care Foundation, Ozark Guidance Center Foundation and
Pagnozzi Charities. |

Danny
Lewis
Danny
Lewis, President of Signature Bank of Arkansas in Bentonville
and Bella Vista is a graduate of the University of Arkansas
and holds a BS in Political Science and his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Arkansas Law School. Mr. Lewis
began his banking career in 1982 with the Bank of Bentonville
and has worked in various capacities including Commercial
Loan Manager, Special Assets Manager and Private Banking.
In June 2004 he joined what is now Signature Bank of Arkansas.
Mr. Lewis’ contribution to Northwest Arkansas and
the Bentonville and Bella Vista communities is extensive.
He serves as the President of the Community Development
Corporation of Bentonville/Bella Vista; is a member of
the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce and is
currently serving on the Champions Committee. He is chairman
of the Finance Committee for Credit Counseling of Arkansas
and on the Will Golf for Kids Tournament committee for
the Children’s’ Miracle Network. Mr. Lewis
and his wife Lena make their home in Bentonville |
